Available options may include:
- Local delivery.

- Customer pickup.
- Domestic parcel delivery.
- Freight delivery for oversized or fragile products.

The available delivery method, estimated cost, and applicable conditions will be shown during checkout or confirmed by our support team.
Prepare the Delivery Area
Cittaneo bathroom vanities and related products can be large and heavy. Many vanities weigh approximately 50–100 lbs or more, depending on their size, materials, countertops, and included components.
Before delivery:
- Arrange for at least two capable adults to receive and move heavy products.
- Measure doorways, hallways, staircases, elevators, and other access points.
- Remove obstacles from the delivery route.
- Protect floors, walls, and nearby furniture where necessary.
- Prepare a dry, level, and secure area where the shipment can be inspected.
- Make sure an authorized adult is available to sign for the delivery.
Please note: Standard curbside or freight delivery may not include carrying the product inside your home, moving it upstairs, unpacking, assembly, or installation unless these services have been arranged separately.
During Delivery
Inspect the Packaging Before Signing
Before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD), carefully inspect the outside of every box, crate, or pallet.
Look for signs of possible shipping damage, including:
- Dents, crushed corners, or punctures.
- Torn or opened packaging.
- Broken straps or seals.
- Water stains, moisture, or other liquid damage.
- Loose products or movement inside the packaging.
- Damaged pallets or protective framing.
- Missing boxes or an incorrect package count.
Do not sign for a visibly damaged shipment without documenting the damage on the Proof of Delivery.
Document Visible Damage
If the packaging appears damaged, describe the condition clearly and specifically on the POD before signing.
For example:
- “Left side of carton crushed.”
- “Top corner punctured.”
- “Mirror compartment visibly damaged.”
- “Pallet broken and product leaning.”
- “Received three cartons; delivery paperwork lists four.”
Whenever possible:
- Take clear photographs of the damaged packaging.
- Photograph the shipping label and product label.
- Ask the carrier or driver to acknowledge the damage.
- Request the driver’s signature next to your damage notation.
If the driver cannot remain while you complete a full inspection, write “Subject to Further Inspection” on the POD before signing.
A general notation such as “damaged” may not provide enough information for a successful freight claim. Be as specific as possible.
Keep Your Proof of Delivery
Retain a clear copy or photograph of the signed POD. This document may be required when submitting a request involving:
- Shipping damage.
- Missing cartons or components.
- Replacement products.
- Returns or refunds.
- Carrier claims.
After Delivery
Unpack the Product Carefully
Move the shipment to a safe inspection area and unpack it as soon as reasonably possible.
- Use appropriate tools to open boxes and crates.
- Avoid inserting knives or sharp tools deeply into the packaging.
- Wear protective gloves when handling glass, metal, stone, ceramic, or sharp-edged components.
- Use two or more people when lifting heavy products.
- Do not lift a vanity by its countertop, doors, drawers, or plumbing openings.
- Keep all original packaging until the product has been fully inspected.
Inspect Every Product and Component
Inspect the complete order before assembly, modification, or installation.
Check for:
- Scratches, dents, cracks, chips, or discoloration.
- Broken glass, mirrors, countertops, or ceramic basins.
- Water damage or moisture exposure.
- Missing hardware, accessories, or installation components.
- Incorrect products, sizes, finishes, or configurations.
- Doors or drawers that are damaged or misaligned.
- Damage that may have been hidden by the outer packaging.
Pay particular attention to fragile components such as mirrors, glass panels, stone or marble countertops, ceramic basins, and decorative finishes.
Do not install a damaged or incorrect product. Installation, modification, drilling, cutting, plumbing connection, or disposal of the original packaging may affect return or damage-claim eligibility.

Please provide:

Shipping Information
Packaging Standards
Cittaneo products are packaged using protective materials selected according to the product’s size, weight, and fragility.
Packaging may include:
- Protective foam.
- Bubble wrap.
- Corner and edge guards.
- Double-walled cartons.
- Protective film.
- Wooden crates or reinforced pallets.
- Internal separators for fragile components.
Selected international orders may be supplied in ready-to-assemble (RTA) or flat-pack packaging to reduce freight volume, improve handling, and lower transportation costs.
Shipping Labels and Tracking
Packages are generally labeled with identifying information such as the product name, SKU, carton number, and recipient details.
Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with your order. Depending on the shipment type, tracking updates may take up to one business day to become active.
You can also review available tracking and order information from My Orders.
Carrier Partners
We work with established parcel and freight carriers, which may include FedEx, UPS, regional freight companies, and international logistics providers.
The final carrier will be selected based on:
- Package size and weight.
- Product fragility.
- Delivery destination.
- Service availability.
- Requested delivery speed.
For international orders, additional documentation may be required for customs clearance. We will contact you if the carrier, customs authority, or logistics provider requires further information.
Estimated Processing and Delivery Times
Estimated timelines may vary depending on product availability, destination, weather, carrier capacity, customs processing, and other factors outside our control.
- In-stock order processing: Usually dispatched within 1–2 business days.
- Local delivery: Approximately 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- Domestic shipping: Approximately 3–7 business days after dispatch.
- International express shipping: Approximately 1–4 business days after dispatch.
- International standard shipping: Approximately 5–10 business days after dispatch.
These timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Large freight orders, made-to-order products, backordered items, remote-area deliveries, and customs inspections may require additional time. RTA products may also require assembly after delivery.
Shipping Costs, Taxes, and Duties
Applicable shipping charges are calculated based on the selected delivery method, shipment size, weight, destination, and service requirements.
Where supported, available shipping charges and taxes will be displayed during checkout. International duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, and import taxes may be calculated separately depending on the destination country and shipping terms.
For shipments billed to a customer-provided carrier or collect account, the account holder or consignee is responsible for any additional carrier charges, adjustments, storage fees, address-correction fees, customs costs, or other applicable expenses.
For more information, review our Shipping Policy.
International Orders
International shipping requirements can vary by destination, product category, and order size.
- RTA and Flat-Pack Products:
We generally recommend ready-to-assemble or flat-pack vanities for international shipments because they can reduce freight volume and make handling more convenient. - Assembly Materials:
RTA products normally include assembly instructions and the required standard hardware. Customers are responsible for providing suitable tools and arranging qualified assembly or installation where necessary. - Customs Documentation:
The customer may be required to provide tax identification, importer details, authorization forms, or other documents requested by customs authorities or the carrier. - Import Costs:
Unless otherwise stated in writing, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, storage charges, and local delivery costs are the customer’s responsibility. - Risk of Loss:
Title and risk of loss may transfer according to the shipping terms shown in the order confirmation, commercial invoice, or applicable sales agreement. - Transit Damage:
Inspect the shipment immediately and report visible damage on the carrier’s delivery document. Where a direct carrier claim is required, submit it within the carrier’s applicable claim period.
For international transit damage, notify both the carrier and Cittaneo promptly. Where applicable, provide the carrier claim reference number to support@cittaneo.com so our team can assist with supporting documentation.
Backordered Items
If a product is temporarily unavailable, its backorder status and estimated availability may be shown on the product page, during checkout, or communicated after the order is placed.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Available products may ship separately from backordered products.
- Backordered products will ship after inventory becomes available.
- Estimated restock dates may change due to production, supplier, customs, or transportation delays.
- You will receive tracking information when each shipment is dispatched.
- Additional standard shipping charges will generally not be applied solely because an order is divided into multiple shipments.
If you need to change or cancel a backordered item, contact support@cittaneo.com before the item enters processing or ships.
Returns and Delivery Assistance
Before returning any product, review the Cittaneo Return Policy and contact our support team for instructions. Products returned without prior authorization may be delayed or refused.
